Description
When painting your nails, sometimes the polish can have a hard time adhering to the nail bed, which is why a good primer is required.
Primers prepare the nail for the polish, ensuring a perfect adhesion between the two. Depending on the type of primer, etching occurs and sees the primer acting like sandpaper to give a rough surface for the polish, gel or acrylic to anchor onto.
Primer is also able to disinfect and degrease, which helps keep the nail healthy for longer.
If you have sensitive nails, we recommend purchasing a low acid, or acid-free primer.
