The “Golden Treats” treatment
This treatment is ideal for mature skin that needs additional stimulation with highly effective active ingredients. It dramatically reduces wrinkles and blemishes, it awakens the luminosity of the skin, whilst having an immediate tightening effect.
Selvert Profesional has prepared a pack with the products needed to perform this treatment. The 24k gold treatment pack includes wrinkle cream of gold microparticles and pearl powder, gold leaf, serum and other elements for 5 treatments of 24k pure gold.
1. Cleansing
A relaxing massage is performed, which serves as a welcome and creates a suitable atmosphere. Use a cleansing milk with a gentle massage on the face and neck, to deeply cleanse the skin and prepare it for treatment.
2. Exfoliation
- Phase I: Peeling. Use a facial peeling cream containing particles and chemical elements to exfoliate the skin. Use the product amount needed and apply by rubbing gently for a few minutes, leave for another 5 minutes. Alternatively, you can also use a microdermabrasion device which uses aluminum or diamond microcrystals.
- Phase II: apply a tonic or mousse cleanser. This product completes the exfoliation and purification process. Apply the cleanser until a soft foam forms and then rinse with hot water. Finally, apply a refreshing tonic to the face, neck and chest.
3. Gold leaf
Apply the 24k gold leaf directly to the skin. Thanks to the next phase, the gold penetrates the skins surface, maximizing the beneficial properties of this precious metal.
- Take two gold leaves from the pack without separating them from their protective layer.
- Cut them in half to get 4 pieces. Put one on the neck or chin, another on the forehead and one on each cheek. Put them on so that the gold is in contact with the skin.
- Rub gently the outer protective layer and remove it, so that the gold remains adhered to the skin.
A single sheet may be divided into more portions for use on the most damaged areas. For example, after cutting the sheet into two, put one half on the chin and then cut the remaining half in three triangles. This way, you can put a triangle between the eyes and the other two on the crow’s feet.
Do not remove the protective layer until the gold leaves are properly on the skin, so that the thin layer of gold doesn’t damage. In any case, the pack includes two additional sheets if one of them is damaged during handling.
4. Gold concentrate
This is an anti-aging oil solution rich in regenerative, antioxidant and firming ingredients. This gel is composed of microparticles of 24 carat gold, jojoba oil, Spilanthes Acmella flower extract, rosehip oil, vitamin E and vitamin A.
Shake well and pour the entire contents of the vial into a container. Then, use a brush to apply the product on the face, neck and chest, also on the gold leaf. After, perform a gentle massage so that the gold penetrates the skin and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
5. Gold mask
This firming and revitalizing facial mask, after adding water, will create a creamy mixture that is applied to the skin and will tighten.
- To use the mask, pour the contents of the packet into a container and add 65 ml of warm water.
- Stir with a spatula until there’s a smooth, creamy substance.
- Use the spatula to apply an even layer over the entire face and neck.
- Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, until it starts to crack.
- Remove the mask in one piece.
- Once removed, massage the sensitive areas.
After applying the 24 carat gold mask, the skin will be firm, radiant and smooth.
6. Toning lotion
Use a mild moisturizing tonic (sensitive skin) or a restorative tonic (combination or oily skin) and gently massage to remove the remnants of the mask.
7. Pure gold cream
Emollient cream with a rich consistency, to perform the final massage. It is enriched with pure 24 carat gold and active ingredients that leave the skin protected and vibrant for hours. It contains thermal water, jojoba oil, Spilanthes Acmella flower extract, Vitis Vinifera grape extract, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, proteins, lactose, peptides, pearl powder and SPF 6 sunscreen.
Apply the cream with a final massage, until completely absorbed.
Treatment frequency
- Shock treatment:two treatments per week will be applied for the first two weeks. In the third week a single treatment is applied.
- Maintenance treatment: one treatment per week for 5 weeks.
